The simplest way to ride from Porto to Santiago
ride. We plan the rest.
You still ride at your own pace, stop when you want, and make the journey your own.
The practical side of the Camino has already been designed before you arrive: how the bike is prepared, where each day leads, where you sleep, how your luggage moves, and what happens when you reach Santiago.
Instead of spending evenings comparing hotels, checking distances, calling places about bike storage, or wondering whether tomorrow’s stage makes sense, you follow the way we would recommend after riding it ourselves with balanced stages, thoughtful stops and a rhythm that keeps the adventure enjoyable from Porto to Santiago.
The 8-day rhythm
the journey
We could make the Camino shorter. We choose not to.
Eight days give us the flexibility to protect accommodation quality, enjoy comfortable daily distances, and experience the Camino at a rewarding pace.
-
A rhythm that works.
Eight balanced stages of around 40 km per day on average, shaped by people who have ridden the Camino themselves and know how to keep the journey comfortable without making it feel over-planned or less adventurous. Each day begins with a clear route, a premium e-bike, and the calm feeling of knowing the important details are already taken care of, leaving you free to ride, pause, explore and experience the Camino at your own rhythm.
-
At the end of each stage, you do not want another thing to figure out.
You want to arrive, find your luggage waiting, leave the bike somewhere safe, take a shower, rest properly, and know that breakfast is there before the next ride.
That is why we choose the stays carefully. Whenever available, we work with 4-star or superior accommodation, selected for comfort, recovery, breakfast, location, and the practical details that matter on an e-bike Camino.
The goal is simple: when the riding day ends, everything should feel easy.
-
Carry what you need for the day, focusing on the ride. We keep everything else moving.
Your luggage is transferred from stay to stay, so when you reach each hotel, what you need is already there. Travelling with a larger suitcase that you do not want to carry throughout the journey? Consider it handled. We will have it waiting for you in Santiago. And when you arrive in Santiago, we are there to collect the bikes, so the journey ends without one more thing to solve.
-
One more night in Santiago gives you time to rest after the ride, visit the Cathedral, collect your Compostela, explore the city at a slower pace, or even take a private van excursion to Finisterre and Muxía, along the Costa da Morte.
More importantly, it allows you to end the journey properly, without rushing the arrival, the celebration, or the experience itself.

During our call, we’ll understand your journey and thoughtfully provide our expertise for every detail around you, so that you can simply arrive and focus on what truly matters: the ride, the places, and the experience itself.
-
No, and we don’t recommend it.
Our Camino is designed around a balanced riding rhythm of roughly 40 km per day, combined with carefully selected accommodations that match the comfort and quality we believe this journey deserves.
Reducing the route to 5 or 6 days would mean longer stages, less recovery time, and fewer options to stay in the places we consider truly right for the experience.
For us, the Camino should feel challenging, but never rushed. You should have time to ride, stop, enjoy the landscapes, arrive at the hotel with energy, recover properly, and make the most of each evening.
That is why we recommend seven riding days or more. It is the rhythm that best protects the quality of the journey.
-
Like any rental service, we will ask for a valid ID or Passport.
To ensure the safety and performance of the bikes throughout your journey, they must be stored overnight in a secure, indoor space at your accommodation.
-
Our bikes are adjustable to fit almost any size, whether you're short, tall, male or female.
As long as you're over 1.50 meters (4ft9) tall and under 140kg (310lbs), you're all set to ride! -
Our e-bikes are equipped with Bosch batteries of up to 625Wh, designed for long days on the Camino.
In most cases, a single charge is enough for a full day of riding. That said, range always depends on factors such as elevation, wind (especially the north wind along the coast) rider weight, the assistance level you choose, and other conditions.
You should expect a range of around 60 to 80 km.
We recommend charging the battery overnight at your accommodation and, whenever possible, during lunch (giving you more freedom to ride in a higher assistance level throughout the day.)
If you’re ever unsure about range or how to manage your battery during the journey, we’re here to guide you so you can ride with confidence, not concern.
-
Shop pick-up (near Luís I Bridge). This allows us to do a full bike fitting, check and advise the pannier setup, and run a test ride, ensuring maximum comfort and the best support.
The return of the e-bikes is included in the full price, at a convenient meeting point (ideally your hotel or a central location) collecting the bikes and accessories.
-
During the planning call, we usually share the different route and accommodation possibilities with you. Our standard is to work with carefully selected 4-star-and-above hotels, subject to availability.
Because availability can vary, we work with a curated list of hotel options in each area, allowing us to protect the quality and comfort of the experience.
Once your booking is confirmed, your final hotels and overnight cities will be available for you to review.
-
Hotel check-in is always available from 3 pm.
This means your room may only be ready from that time onwards, depending on the hotel.Luggage transfer follows a different schedule.
Each morning, your luggage should be left at the hotel reception between 7 and 8 am. It will then be collected and transported to your next accommodation, where it is expected to arrive between 1 and 3 pm.In practice, your bags may arrive before your room is ready.
When that happens, they will be kept safely at the hotel reception until check-in is available. -
Yes. You can choose between a single room or a double/twin room, depending on your preference.
A single room is for one person.
A double/twin room is for two people and can either have two separate beds or one bed suitable for two guests. -
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own accessories.
However, all personal equipment must be compatible with our bikes. In particular, panniers need to fit securely onto our rear racks, so they must meet the correct rack-hook dimensions. We will confirm the exact measurement with you before the trip.
Please let us know in advance what you would like to bring, so we can check compatibility and make sure everything is safe, practical, and ready for the journey.
-
For the phone mount, we will ask you in advance which phone model you use. Based on that information, we will prepare the correct Quad Lock case for your device.
The case will then attach securely to the Quad Lock Out Front Mount Pro, which will already be installed on your bike. This gives you a stable, safe, and practical setup for following the route during the journey.

Our GPX is designed from one accommodation to the next. You can use it in any app that allows you to import it, although we recommend Komoot.
